MEGA-SCOPES are a Las Vegas dance music trio of extraterrestrial owl hybrids. Their sound fuses the electronic rhythms of dance music, hip hop and trance with the organic warmth of acoustic instruments. Compared to The Floozies, Glitch Mob, Beats Antique and Big Gigantic, they have never been seen unmasked.

In 1977 the research group SETI received an encoded radio message from a distant galaxy. A decade of decryption revealed genetic information carried in a technique since designated 4D holographic encoding. Under Project Owlian, that material was combined with the DNA of the humble owl, chosen for its deadly stealth, night vision and excellent hearing.

The resulting hybrids refused to be weaponized. They were, instead, singularly fascinated by earth's music. Freed under the H.A.F.T.A. treaty in exchange for the schematics to a perpetual motion machine, the MEGA-SCOPES now travel the world playing clubs and festivals.

Their sound fuses electronic dance, hip hop and trance with acoustic instruments: pulsating basslines, shimmering synths, infectious grooves. Live, they perform in full mask and flight suit, backed by owl-eye visuals. Based in Las Vegas. Will travel.
